componet

CompoNet is a research project I worked on with Dr. Nathan Brooks to visualize passive components like capacitors and inductors at a large, comprehensive scale in order to compare the technologies across various figures of merit.

Funnily, I actually pursued this as an unpaid project at U.C. Berkeley after I had already graduated, mostly because I had taken a photovoltaics class my senior year which really left an imprint on me, and I wanted to stay involved in sustainable energy. The tool I would build with CompoNet would help engineers design more efficient power electronics, for example higher energy density electric aircraft batteries where weight consideration is critical.

Through this, I ended up learning a lot about the world of academia, and was fortunate to get to present my work at PECI 2024.
