Droptop was aimed to be what Tiktok has sort of become today, it was a set of extremely powerful yet simple to use video editing tools that let people create and share funny content.
I worked on this during my sophomore year of college, and I probably went through 5 different very drastic iterations on the app. While this didn't "take off" like I had hoped back then, I owe a lot of my ability to understand design and marketing at a core to the insane hustle I went through to try to promote this to high school and college kids. I even amassed 10k TikTok followers filming viral content to try to promote Droptop.
