Voice was one of the first real projects I ever built and shipped, and it's one that I continue to maintain even today. I originally built it in 2014, my freshman year of high school, as a way to help blind people read everyday items that are not formatted in Braille or audio.

Over the years, Voice has been used by 3+ million blind people across the world, who've used it to read tens of millions of items like documents, labels, etc. In the summer after my sophomore year of college, my parents decided I needed to pay my own rent moving forward, so I started charging money for Voice and that's how I paid rent throughout school.

This is something I'd like to maintain for as long as it's still useful since I don't see too many developers actively building something for the blind community and Voice has had a lot of impact on those who continue to use it.
